The hazards of baby shopping

So, I have discovered the devil, and his name is Gymboree.  Honest to goodness, shopping for babies is so much more fun than shopping for adults, esp when there is a sale on!  Ladybug and I went to Gymboree yesterday, I got my online order from them today, and then we went to Baby Gap with Kathleen today.  I'm making myself stop before Daddy gets mad at us.  But, she looks so darn cute!

These are not the best pictures, but how cute are these pants?!  I want some for big people! 

And, in knitting news, I've been working away on my Sockret Pal's socks.  I'm using Jitterbug and I so love it, they are looking great.  I'm almost through on one sock.  I'm making myself wait to order the STR because I am sure I'll want to knit with that once it comes.  This deadline is up first, so they will be done soon hopefully!

Decisions, decisions

The general consensus has been to go with Nodding Violet.  I did a bit of googling and found some knitted socks out of Nodding Violet, and I really liked how the colors worked together.  So, that is what I've decided to go with.  I may have to order some of the Rolling Stone for myself to try.  Now the hard part is deciding on a pattern!  I'm thinking either Broadripple or Jaywalker, and then there is RPM......  I'll just have to wait until the yarn gets to me, and I do a bit of swatching.  I'm not sure if a lacy pattern would be good or if I should stick with somethinga little more solid.

Blooming Feet!

It is February and the start of Blooming Feet is upon us!  Such begins the dilemma of what yarn to choose which I always find to be a little hard to make a decision.  I've decided to go with the Socks that Rock mainly because I've never knit with it before, and I am dying to try it.  But, I need help trying to pick a colorway!  So, here are my two choices, what is everyone's vote?

The first is Nodding Violet.  I really like all the greens in this one, it is pretty calming, there don't seem to be any bright bursts of color.

  This one is Rolling Stone (can't you just see Mick Jagger running around stage wearing socks made out of these?!).  I love the richness of the colors in this one. 

So, help me decide!!

In other exciting, non-knitting news, the Ladybug rolled over yesterday!  It was a very exciting day here.  The next thing I know she will be crawling around and then walking!!
